10th (Scottish) Bn. King's Liverpool piper's plaid brooch

A good heavy nickel example by JR Gaunt, London. Quoit mounted saltire bearing open thistle wreath closed at the top by a semi-circular scroll inscribed ‘Scottish Liverpool’. Mounted to the centre, The White Horse of Hanover on a scroll inscribed ‘The Kings’. Stout pin to reverse. VGC. 1908-1920.Ex Hugh King Collection.
